We had a defective pump that needed replacing. Ruben Van Leuven examined the pump in question and it was determined that a replacement would be the best option. Ruben also went the extra mile . . . cleaned up the excess moisture on the floor around the dehumidifier, checked all the connections as well as the level on the unit (which needed some minor adjustments). Everything is back online now and we look forward to Ruben's service visit next year.

We had a ton of humidity and condensation issues in the crawlspace of our 100+ year old home to the point the humidity was causing issues with our HVAC system. After getting a quote for encapsulation we had 58 Foundations come out and we were sold - the professionalism, comprehensive assessment and customization before even putting numbers together was what sold us. The other companies were out maybe 15 mins, maybe took a couple pics, and one didn’t even measure anything before giving a quote. Maybe it’s not necessary, but the fact that 58 Foundations took laser measurements, actually spent more than 10 seconds under the house, and walked through everything in detail for us was what sold us. We had them do a full encapsulation, upgraded dehumidifier, add a condensation pump, and upgrade the access doors and add lighting. Once we signed the estimate we were kept informed on everything prior to and all the way through the installation process. The install crew was extremely thorough and professional and are definitely a huge part of the 4.8+ ratings everywhere. These guys worked so hard and were so detailed I literally couldn’t believe they turned out creepy crawlspace full of spiders and moisture into what looks like a pristine clean room now! We can actually store stuff under the house and it’s far easier to do the routine stuff like whole house water filter changes, duct cleaning and HVAC filter changes without having to strap on a headlamp, weave around spiders and spiderwebs, shoo toads out of the way, and get your knees and hands dirty. Their prices were fair and included things like a lifetime warranty and even an annual service plan if you want. I would absolutely recommend 58 Foundations if you’re in North GA and need crawlspace or foundation work done - they are the best!

'58 Foundations & Waterproofing really is awesome. We needed carbon fiber strips to reinforce our bowing and cracking basement walls and they came through seamlessly. The workers were very professional and friendly. They did a good job repairing our problem. When it was time to pay Alex removed his shoes before entering our home. Our issue involved a lot of mud. We appreciated his attention in not tracking the mud through our home.

Two days ago I had the good fortune to have David Krump from 58 Foundations come to my house to find my where the basement leak was originating and provide an estimate. This was the 3rd estimate I lined up for this issue.
David went above and beyond. The other companies had intricate and plans from breaking my basement floor, adding sump pumps and piping to remodeling my crawlspace. They each spent over an hour in my home. The estimates ranged from $4k to over $10k!
David knew almost immediately that my AC drain was clogged and needed cleaning and that the water was coming from the HVAC. He checked my crawlspace to ease my mind and assured me everything was dry.
Good old fashioned expertise and honesty. He could have suggested a $10k job like the others, but he was an upstanding professional. Thank you, David. My AC was cleaned yesterday, and the imaginary "foundation leak" has disappeared.

2nd Update:

These guys follow through and came back to the house and got everything back in order, cleaned up professionally and made sure to put everything back in its place. Special kudos and thanks go to Sergio, Fernando and Lance who showed up and make me a happy customer. Thank you 🙏

The crawlspace encapsulation crew of Chad, Justin, and Richard came out today and completely cleaned and encapsulated my crawlspace! They were on time, courteous, and did an excellent job! The whole crawlspace looks really great, the quality of the workmanship and materials is superb!

Kevin came out next day and was able to assess our situation and give an immediate, nonsense recommendation for what to do next. Honestly was a join to engage with and was a major relief. We just moved in and saw something potentially missed on the inspection. Kevin in a matter of moments could see the issue and the simple fix. We used this company a few weeks ago to remediate an issue in our basement. They were very professional and resolved issues quickly. The crew that worked at our home over three days were communicative, pleasant, and effective at explaining what they were doing. We would use 58 Foundations again.

The installation of our basement waterproofing system was flawless despite the many physical obstacles the crew had to work around. It’s been 2 years and not a drop of water in our basement or our garage. And Reuben Van Leuven, the service advisor did a thorough job performing our annual maintenance check. He thoroughly documented the entire process and even provided videos of our pumps and drains performing perfectly. He even took a moment to replace the drain hose and clean the filter of our basement dehumidifier (not one of theirs, but will soon be replaced by a ‘58 Foundations commercial dehumidifier!). Couldn’t ask for a better company to do business with.

The specialist, Austin Barry, was very professional, informative, and on time. He completed the inspection, explained our potential options clearly, and provided helpful tradeoffs and rough estimates so we could make an informed decision. Excellent service.

He did a great job at selling the company and really knowing the product that they were selling. He gave us a great quote.
