More than Service: A Legacy of Care
Pioneers Since 1958, Still Leading in 2023
Our name, ’58 Foundations & Waterproofing, nods to our establishment year - 1958. This longevity is a testament to our passionate team and the word-of-mouth of our satisfied clients. Our culture is grounded in community service, starting as a solution to our neighbors’ waterproofing issues. Over six decades, this spirit of serving the community has remained unaltered.
Trust Built Over Time
The home repair industry has its share of fleeting contractors, tarnishing its reputation. We’re aware, and so are you.
Take a deep breath, and get acquainted with a team that thrives on authenticity and sincere commitment. We’re not just another contractor; our integrity runs deep, present in each member of our team.
Every specialist, donning their ‘58 Foundations & Waterproofing uniform, embodies over 65 years of unwavering dedication and superior customer service. It's our immense pride in craftsmanship and genuine customer care that's kept us at the forefront for decades.
Navigating Today's Terrain
While numerous businesses have ventured into foundation repair and waterproofing, driven by short-term gains and subpar products, we've remained unwavering in our commitment to quality. We see our customers as community members, and that relationship is sacred.
Most businesses in our niche come and go or fade into obscurity after retirement. The longevity and success of ’58 Foundations & Waterproofing are rarities in the home services sector.
Our company culture is our backbone, treasured and unparalleled. We emphasize our history to both veteran and new team members. The ’58 in our name serves as a daily reminder of our roots, propelling us to uphold the legacy of those who laid our foundation.

Richard says, “Whatever business you think you’re in, you’re actually in the people business. When you understand this, it will make a world of difference to your employees and your customers.”
Richard enjoys time with his wife and their three sons either on the soccer field, working on their 1968 Buick GS 400 project car, or on home improvement projects. He has been in the industry for over 20 years.
The ’58 Foundations & Waterproofing family also includes our employees, their extended families, and our customers. We have hired hundreds of employees over the last three years and look forward to continuing to build our team and offer great jobs and stability to our communities.
We’ve witnessed additions to our family through newborns within our work family. We’ve celebrated the graduations of our teams’ children from grade school, high school and college. Some of us worship together, our kids play together, and we frequent the same local shops in our communities.
